Quality Inn & Suites near Downtown Bakersfield

This is my new hotel to stay at when I'm in Bakersfield. Quality Inns have always been good affordable options. I had stayed at a more expensive hotel on the first part of my roundtrip from San Diego to Eureka. After staying here I realize this is where I need to stay from now on in Bakersfield. This has everything a Quality Inn has: great wifi, a clean room, great TV, a friendly and highly efficient staff, a great location. On the breakfast, this is typical Quality Inn: some cereals, etc and a waffle machine. Sometimes a motel does not live up to the standards of its brand...this one most certainly does.

The design of this motel is such that from the outside you can be discouraged. But you should not be because the interior courtyard and surrounding rooms with the pool as the focal point, is quite beautiful. The breakfast was satisfactory. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

The staff was amazing, everyone from the nighttime to the morning was happy and helpful. I was concerned by the look of the neighborhood but they made me feel very comfortable and safe. it was key access only into property and full pm security for the property and vehicles.

Great variety, great taste, and fresh.
